AVSG awarded AmQuip Corporation Project

AVSG was awarded the AmQuip Corporation project to include equipment and installation of the Office Video Displays. AmQuip “The Crane People” is the leading provider of crane rentals and related services in the Northeastern United States. AmQuip owns and operates hundreds of cranes, ranging in size from “small” machines such as our 6-ton industrial crane up to 500-ton all-terrain and crawler cranes.

AVSG will be providing four, high resolution, wall mounted, LCD, flat panel displays.
Two displays shall be 40” in image size. One shall be located within the lobby area and the other within the break room. The third display shall be 46” in image size and shall be located within the large executive office. The fourth display shall be 65” in image size and located within the boardroom.

The sources for each display shall be a centralized MAGICBOX digital signage server, local PC video/audio connectivity, (for executive office and boardroom only) HD Cable TV and DVD video (for executive office, boardroom and break room). Audio/Video distribution of centralized digital signage shall traverse over dedicated CAT5 connectivity to each display. Cable TV video sources shall traverse over standard HD RGB cabling and DVD over Svideo cabling. The local PC video connectivity for the executive office and boardroom shall be via a table mounted interface. Each location containing HD Cable TV shall have its own HD receiver local to each display for ease of operation and control of channel tuning.

All program audio shall be through the use of speakers mounted on each display with the exception of the boardroom; which shall contain four ceiling mounted speakers. Each display shall have the ability of being controlled locally via a wall mounted interface. The same wall mounted interface shall have IP connectivity to the corporate network allowing centralized control and automation of each room. Control shall be on/off, source input switching, vol up/down. Cable TV receivers and DVD players shall use their respective infrared remote controls for local operation.

All displays are of professional quality and are designed to operate 24/7. All peripheral equipment shall be housed within an equipment rack, located in central server area.
