As one of the nation’s premier truck leasing and rental companies, Penske Truck Leasing retained AVSG to design and install some of the most state-of-the art AV equipment into their newly renovated Reading, PA corporate facility.

Penske’s core emphasis on keeping their employees well trained and consistently informed, was the basis for AVSG’s system design. As a result, an executive boardroom and two training rooms set the stage for continuing that emphasis.

The Executive Boardroom consists of a main video, information wall containing two 61” plasma displays and one 100” projection screen. Feeding the projection screen is a 5000 lumen, high resolution LCD video projector. Each display is capable of receiving simultaneous video from any one of nine video sources including DVD, VCR, videoconferencing, satellite and PC video. Multiple cameras are positioned throughout the room for use during a videoconference. All aspects of the system are controlled through the use of two 12” color, touch panel displays; one fixed in a presenter podium and the other wireless.

Expanding on the success of the Executive Boardroom, AVSG then focused on the two training rooms with a 61” plasma display with one of the rooms containing an additional 100” projection screen. A 6000 lumen, high resolution LCD video projector is the main display for the training room containing the 100” projection screen.

Each of the two training rooms have multiple video sources comprised of DVD, VCR, satellite and PC video.

System control of each room is through the use of a 6”, color, wireless, touch panel display.
